Daren and Jodi Beck—ACTION International (Cambodia)

    • Praise:
      • That we were able to host our teammate Nathan Wells the last two weeks, blessed by the fruitful ministry he continues to have in the Khmer Church through translation.
      • For new ACTION missionaries who are being mobilized and sent out to UPGs (Unreached People Groups) in the Middle East and Southeast Asia.
    • Prayer:
      • For our teammates Tyler and Henrietta as both are suffering from Dengue Fever
      • For the ongoing financial sustenance of all of our missionaries, especially our non-Western missionaries who are many times under supported.

  • Frank Erb—Capitol Commission (USA)
    • Praise:
      • For the privilege I had to teach a three-week Sunday school class about “The Christian and Government” at LHCC!
      • For the many new requests I get to provide personal pastoral counseling for high level state leaders.
      • For how God is at work through the Bible Studies for staff at the Capitol this time of year.
    • Prayer:
      • For God to bring me skilled volunteer helpers to serve as administrative assistants. 
      • For strength to complete many important ministry plans and administrative tasks that need to be done during this Fall season.
      • For God’s people to provide important end-of-year funding for the ministry to continue and advance as God wills.
      • For my wife Valerie for encouragement and strength as her teaching job is often very stressful and tiring.

Henry and Grace Banda—YOLEDS (Youth Leadership Development in Sport) (Malawi)

Friends: a couple of months ago, the Bandas suffered a disaster when their roof was blown off in a storm, and the house and many of their possessions ruined by the heavy rains that came in. Fortunately, the family was not injured. Please pray for them as they recover from this disaster.

      • For God’s faithfulness to me, my family and ministry.
      • For His protection and providence.
    • Prayer:
      • For peace in Malawi. There have been many demonstrations and a lot of violence around our cities.
      • For our country’s economic recovery.
      • For God’s providence of funds to hold a mass sports outreach next year at the Dzaleka refugee camp.
      • For God to open opportunities to share the Gospel through the vehicle of sports.

Jay and Karen—Dynamic Church Planting International (Worldwide)

 

    • Praise:
      • For the growth in the number of house churches that have resulted from DCPI training held for Pakistan.
      • That the number of participants that go through DCPI church planting online training track continues to increase. Some of the hardest-to-reach countries in the world now have people taking our training. 
    • Prayer:
      • For the success of a planned mass baptism of 5,000 people in one day in India. The leader of this gathering has requested that we all pray that the Spirit of God is poured out upon the people. The location and date of this historic event is not being shared because of safety concerns for our brothers and sisters who are participating. 
      • For the success of the planned DCPI training event for North America. It will be held February 3-6, 2020 in Oceanside, CA. Please pray for the communication to go out to interested parties who will labor together to see the Great Commission fulfilled in our lifetime.

Kennedy Salano—316 Transformational Sports Ministry (East Africa)

    • Praise:
      • For healing my body after I was hospitalized here in Kenya.
      • That we were able to reach over 600 school children through sports ministry.
      • For the success of a training for more than 40 sports ministry workers in Uvira, Democratic Republic of the Congo.
    • Prayer
      • For the success of an upcoming sports ministry training in Khartoum, Sudan in December.
      • For God’s provision that will enable us to build a church for the Unreached people Groups who are meeting under a tree in Southern part of Kenya 
      • For the success of a Sports Ministry end-of-the-year camp in the month of December.
      • That we may finish the year strong as we make a difference through various ministries.

  • Lincoln Christian Academy (formerly Community Christian School), Lincoln, CA (USA)
    • Praise:
      • That our Grandparents Day celebration went well despite not having power for two days. Our students loved spending time with their grandparents and other special family members. Their presentations ranged from God’s wonderful love for us to endearing poems about grandparents.
      • Over 40 volunteers came to our campus to fix, clean, lay bark, and begin the process of installing the poles for our playground shade.  We are so thankful for those who served!
    • Prayer:
      • For many of our students as they struggle with life outside of school. Seven of our students attended a leadership conference and have decided to start a weekly group in order to provide a safe place for discussion and support. We are praying for an experienced counselor with a heart for middle school students to partner with us.
      • For our second-grade student fighting cancer, who is finishing up his chemo treatment. We are praying for encouraging results from upcoming scans and tests. He has continued to attend school in the mornings and has handled everything with a positive attitude.

    • Michael and Irina—Slavic Gospel Association (Eastern Europe)  
      • Praise:
        • That we completed the legal process to temporarily host kids from the orphanage. Praise the Lord!
        • That the water has subsided at the airfield and we’ve almost completed restoring what was damaged.
      • Prayer:
        • For the successful completion of the certification process of our ministry airplane. We had to restart the process; pray that the certification will go through.
        • That the construction of the house we are to live in would continue. We’ve encountered many obstacles.

  • Paul and Grace MosesIndia Sports Ministry/Sangita Charitable Trust (India)
      • Special Notice:
        • Praise:
          • For a successful visit to Lincoln Hills Community Church, and a wonderful Cards & Caring event which will bring hope and solace to the 600 widows and many widowers in our ministry.
          • For safe travels to and from the United States.
        • Prayer:
          • For an end to the country’s debilitating water crisis.
          • For peace and healing for our daughter Shiny, whose baby is due December 4.
          • For wisdom for our daughter Sarah as she takes finals and chooses an area of study for her university education.

Ruth Veltkamp—Set Free Ministries (Nigeria)

  • Praise:
    • That after a meeting with Christian leaders, 670 NASFAT Muslims took a Bible, promising to read it and ask questions of a special committee set up to help them.
    • That seven of the top leaders of IMN (recently declared a terrorist organization) have become Christians during this last month!
    • For generous donations for income-generation projects in Nigeria and North Africa. These projects help new converts and widows to support themselves.  They also provide funds to help establish Christian primary schools.
  • Prayer:
    • For Sitana who plans to travel to Mali soon to comfort the persecuted and bereaved believers there.
    • For the wisdom and resources, including good teachers, to make disciples of the many Muslims who are becoming new believers.

Steve and Dawn Liberti—NAB Conference/Proclaim Ministries (Germany/Global)

      • Praise:
        • For multiple opportunities emerging for the next year of ministry in our focus of The Balkans.
        • For the return of one of our team members after spending a year in America.
        • For many opportunities to serve our German church with evangelistic outreach and worship ministry at conferences within Europe.
      • Prayer:
        • For my team in Albania serving local churches, helping them gain visibility in their communities and helping their churches grow and multiply.
        • For Dawn and Sofia as they remain in Germany while I travel.
        • For Bianca as she attends Taylor University in Indiana.

Thamsing and Ring Dilbung—Church Sports International/Sports Resource Center (East India)

    • Praise:
      • For Ring’s completion of her Bachelor of Ministry (B.Min), a three-year program.
      • For the success of the four-day Church Administration Training for Pastors and other church leaders, in Chandel District of Manipur in September which Thamsing helped lead. Dozens of pastors and other church leaders attended the 4 days training.
      • For the success of The Women Conference of The Lamkang Naga Baptist Association in October. More than 1,000 women attended the conference. Thamsing and Ring were part of the presentation team, and over 300 women gave their lives to Christ.
    • Prayer:
      • For the success of the upcoming three-day Independent Church Pastors Training in Dimapur at the Kingdom Sports Academy. Most pastors from the local area are attending the training. Pray for the right pastors to come.
      • For the success of an upcoming five-day Youth and Sports Ministry Leaders Training, at Chandel Union Church in Dimapur, on the theme of “Spiritual Awakening.”
      • That we’ll be able to organize a great Advent Christmas program, inviting non-believers’ friends to present the Gospel message. The Christmas season is a good time to share the Good News.
