Jay and Karen—Dynamic Church Planting International (Worldwide)

    • Praise
      • That Karen is at 40% of her partnership funding development for her to become a fully equipped missionary with DCPI. Thank you for your support for both of us in the roles God has called us to in this season of our ministry.
      • That last year we had 3,000 students enroll in over 140 countries in DCPI training—the first full year we offered it! We give praise for this effective means to reach every corner of the world with biblical church planting training.
    • Prayer:
      • For the success of our Super Summit training event February 3-6 in Vista, CA. These three-day trainings will give opportunity for men and women to train in a variety of different training tracks. Pray for registrations and for the right people to attend.
      • For wisdom and guidance to present our training in the 58 remaining countries DCPI hasn’t yet reached. These 58 represent some of the most difficult areas to reach in the world. Pray for our success in reaching this goal by the end of 2020.

      • Praise:
        • For a very successful mission trip to Khartoum, the capital of Sudan. [Note: Sudan has seen violence, genocide, and Sharia law for the last several decades. • Special Notice:
        • Praise:
          • For the birth of our first grandchild, born in mid-November. He is a healthy baby boy, and his mother (our daughter Shiny) is healthy after the birth as well. The pregnancy was quite stressful, and we had concerns about the baby’s health, but all is well—praise God!

Ruth Veltkamp—Set Free Ministries (Nigeria)

  • Praise:
    • For God’s mysterious ways. A team came from the oldest and most prestigious Muslim university in the world to try to draw our people in North Africa back into Islam. Their efforts ended with one of their leading professors becoming a Christian!
    • For a growing network of American Christians who are joining together for weekly prayer and encouragement as they lovingly welcome and reach out to Muslims in West Michigan.
  • Prayer:
    • For the success of our plans to send an IMANI leader and his wife to live with the newly converted Professor from North Africa in order to train him and his household in the Way of Jesus. Pray for wisdom and resources for travel and in-service training.
    • For strength and guidance for the newly converted professor. We hear that more Muslim leaders are coming to visit this newly converted Professor to reason him back into Islam. Pray that instead many more Muslims may join him in following Jesus.

Steve and Dawn Liberti—NAB Conference/Proclaim Ministries (Germany/Global)

      • Praise:
        • For a fruitful year of ministry in 2019! We met the majority of our goals this year and are especially grateful for our return to Albania as a mission. There is much need and our recent efforts brought encouragement and hope not only to our church partners but to those who heard the truth and beauty of The Gospel.
        • That Bianca was able to join us for the Christmas season this year after her first semester at Taylor University in Indiana. She loves it and is thriving there! We have had a wonderful time together celebrating the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ.
        • For an opportunity for Steve to be a part of the Christmas outreach ministry tour with Christian artist Danny Plett this year. The time of ministry spanned three weeks and was a great encouragement to German churches and pastors as together we shared the Christmas story with un-churched German people in a culture that increasingly secular and apathetic. God did amazing things!
        • For another year where our church family at LHCC supported us in prayer and with finances to continue the work God has for us here in Europe and The Balkans. Thank you for your faithfulness and generous and loving hearts!
      • Prayer:
        • For the many plans we have for 2020 in our ministry-focused area of The Balkans. We are planning ministry in Hungary, Croatia, Serbia, Albania and Bosnia as well as the local and regional ministry we are involved in here in Germany.
        • For Steve’s mom Mary as her health issues have become more complicated and her care needs have increased. We desire to honor here and care for her as much as is possible from here in Germany, as well as a planned trip to see her early next year. Please pray for her salvation as she remains a devout Jehovah’s Witness.
        • For our family as Sofia prepares for the last last of her senior year at Black Forest Academy and plans to attend Taylor University in Indiana with Bianca.
        • For our partners in Albania affected by a recent earthquake in the last couple of months. Pray in particular for pastors in Tirana and Durres.

Thamsing and Ring Dilbung—Church Sports International/Sports Resource Center (East India)

    • Praise:
      • For the success of the November Pastors Training at Kingdom Sports Academy in Dimapur. 29 pastors attended the training, and all felt it was the most blessed time of fellowship.
      • For the success of the five-day Youth & Sports Ministry leadership training at the end of November. With the theme of “Spiritual Awakening,” 165 youths came to the Chandel Union Church in Dimapur, 90 of whom renewed their life to Christ. Two unbelievers accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior and were later baptized. Praise be to God.
      • For the success of our Advent program in December. We held a Christmas feast and taught the Gospel at the Bethel Prayer Home in Dimapur, where the Mahesh Khurana’s family—the father, mother, and two children—accepted Jesus Christ. This Christmas season was filled with love, joy, peace, and good hope!
    • Prayer:
      • For the success of the two-day fasting and prayers program to begin the year. Pray for wisdom and direction to the Lord’s will and ways for the year.
      • For guidance as Thamsing will be speaking at the Mission Conference in Manipur, in mid-January, with a focus on Mission Partnership Strategy.
      • For the success of the three-day Sports Ministry Conference in late January.
      • For support as we approach the Manipur Government to recognize and appoint a full-time Sports Chaplain. Although small, the state of Manipur is ranked number one in sports in all of India.
    •
