Steve and Dawn Liberti—NAB Conference/Proclaim Ministries (Germany/Global)

      • Praise:
        • For a great trip to Chicago and Indiana to take our youngest daughter Sofia to her freshman year at Taylor University. We made some new friends, built new relationships and spent time with our oldest daughter, a sophomore at Taylor. What a blessing to be together as a family once again. Praise God for quality time and for God’s abundant provision on this trip of housing and transportation from new friends.
        • That our elderly parents have remained well and healthy during this global pandemic. Apart from some cabin fever and a little loneliness, they have been doing well. We know that there are many people in our circle of friends for which this is not always the case. So we continue to pray for LHCC and our dear brothers and sisters we know in America and around the world. May He protect you and bless you all abundantly!
      • Prayer:
        • For a citywide evangelistic outreach Steve will be joining from September 11-21 in Croatia. Our team will be in Slavonski Brod, a small city near the Bosnian border partnering with our partner Pastor Darko at the local Baptist Church. This will be a week of outreach using music, sports, online programming, as well as live outreach in the city’s main square. May people who need The Lord have open ears and softened hearts to receive our Lord Jesus as their savior.
        • For our continued small gathering outreach events here in Germany. These are backyard parties where we share our walk of faith with local Germans using music as a tool to draw people in. We have had some very successful events this summer with a couple more scheduled this fall. This is a wonderful way for local believers to build relationships with their neighbors, co-workers, family and friends.

Thamsing and Ring Dilbung—Church Sports International/Sports Resource Center (East India)

    • Praise:
      • For prayers and support that really encourages us during this horrible time.
      • For LHCC for supporting us. We are so grateful for all your love and understanding towards our mission partnership. During the pandemic, we haven’t been able to do the ministry events we planned. We’ve seen many churches discontinue their mission support, and we’re grateful for your continued assistance as we plan around the lockdown.
    • Prayer:
      • For God’s protection through the pandemic. The government lifted its lockdown on August 17, and almost immediately saw a spike in cases and deaths. So Nagaland is again locked down—we cannot travel, gather, or go anywhere. We do not have the technology here to hold Zoom calls or even call others.
